SOFTBALL BAT RULES


🥎 🥎 SOFTBALL BAT RULES 🥎 🥎

The bat must be a softball bat which meets league specifications and standards as noted in this rule.
Bat 
shall be a smooth, rounded stick and made of wood or a material tested and proved acceptable to league standards.

Minors (8U, 10U) & Majors (12U) 
The bat shall be no more than 33 inches in length, not more than two and one-quarter (2-1/4) inches in diameter, and if wood, not less than fifteen-sixteenth (15/16) inches in diameter (7/8 inch for bats less than 30 inches) at its smallest part.

Non-wood bats shall be printed with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.20.  

Junior League (softball 14U) 
The bat shall be no more than 34 inches in length, not more than two and one-quarter (2-1/4) inches in diameter, and if wood, not less than fifteen-sixteenth (15/16) inches in diameter (7/8 inch for bats less than 30 inches) at its smallest part.

Non-wood bats shall be printed with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.20

COACH PITCH  -  MINORS DIVISION  -  MAJORS DIVISION
ALL levels of 60' baseball
Any/All metal or composite bats (non-wood) MUST HAVE a label which reads: USA BASEBALL
this applies to 2 1/4 and/or 2 5/8 diameter metal or composite bats
wood bats are allowed - no stamp/mark is necessary to use a wood bat

INTERMEDIATE 70’ DIVISION
Any/All metal or composite bats (non-wood) MUST HAVE a label which reads: USA BASEBALL or BBCOR
this applies to 2 1/4 and/or 2 5/8 diameter metal or composite bats
wood bats are allowed - no stamp/mark is necessary to use a wood bat

FULL SIZE DIAMOND - 90’ DIVISION
Any/All metal or composite bats (non-wood) MUST HAVE a label which reads: BBCOR
wood bats are allowed - no stamp/mark is necessary to use a wood bat


NOTE:
Illegal bats WILL NOT be allowed in games or at practice
