Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber trailed by as many as five, but came back to top Southampton 2 on Wednesday, 9-6.

Southampton 2 opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two walks.  A single and a double helped Southampton 2 extend their early lead in the second.

Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Cooper D singled, scoring one run, Dylan S doubled, scoring two runs, Wyatt D singled, scoring one run, and Parker H singled, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fourth, Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber broke up the tie when Matt F drew a walk, scoring one run. Then a single by JJ H followed to extend the lead to 9-6.

Dylan earned the win for Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber. The reliever gave up one hit and one run over four and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking three. Wyatt opened the game for Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber. The hurler surrendered two hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber piled up 10 hits in the game. Oliver S, JJ, and Wyatt each collected two hits for Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber. Dylan and JJ each drove in two runs for Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber. Oliver led Northampton Majors - Fydenkevez/Recuber with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game.
